Established in 1885, The Arts Institute at Bournemouth is one of only twelve specialist higher education institutes in the UK that offers high quality education in arts, design and media.
Situated on a single campus in Bournemouth, the Institute consists of a series of purpose-built studios accommodating approximately 2,500 students on full-time courses. There are currently more than 260 overseas students from around 55 countries studying at the Institute. The Institute has an excellent reputation in the creative industries and many of its specialist courses are considered to be among the best in the country. A recent National Student Survey placed us 22nd out of 129 universities overall and the institution ranked first of the ten institutions specialising solely in arts, design and media.
