Will I need a visa to study in England? |

EU nationals do not need a visa. Non EU nationals however will need to check with the British Embassy, Consulate or High Commission in their respective country. The Embassy will also be able to advise on how to obtain a visa. |

Do I need medical insurance? |
|
If you are on a course of study which lasts for longer than six months, you will be eligible for free medical treatment under the British National Health Service. Certain items (e.g. dental check-ups, eye examinations and prescription medicines) do incur a small charge. If you require extra cover (e.g. repatriation in the event of serious illness) or are on a course which is shorter than six months, it is strongly advised that you obtain adequate medical insurance before travel. |

Each educational establishment in the partnership has an accommodation office that can cater for international students' needs. Many types of accommodation are available, for example: living with a local family, staying in a hotel or guest house, living in halls of residence or renting a room in a private property. |

Can I work whilst I am studying? |
|
Normally, the answer to this question is yes. If you are an EU national there are no restrictions. For most non EU nationals, the British government says that you may work up to 20 hours a week during term time and up to 40 hours a week during the vacation. However, you should be sure that your employment does not interfere with your academic studies. If a period of work placement is an integral part of your course, you may work full time during this period. |
